Studio Kunukku is a multidisciplinary design studio based in Beirut, Lebanon. Created by the inspiration for lost crafts, the studio aims to rediscover and re-engage with traditional techniques of printing and textile, especially woodblock printing. We seek to offer a new view on how such crafts can be practiced again as a form of expression that can influence contemporary design fields. The studio’s practice will focus on textile design, fashion, and furniture.
Working with Studio Kunukku has been such a joyful experience! Working from my color pallet, the team created three beautiful design options for me to choose from. They were communicative throughout the process and even shared photos with me as it was being printed! I feel so privileged to have an original Studio Kunnuku rug in my home, and would definitely order from them again.
